Mini-Grants

Mini-Grants are grants made by the Foundation in amounts under $500.00 for small projects. The application process is different from the normal grant application process and schedule.

An application for a Mini-Grant may be made in letter form sent to the Foundation. Mini-Grant applications will be reviewed at each regular meeting of the Foundation Board of Directors rather than on the cycle used to review larger grants.

The application should include the following information:

  • Name and address of the applicant organization

  • Name of the project director or supervisor

  • Amount requested

  • Purpose of the grant

  • Information about other sources of funding for the project, if any-other grant sources, contributions or project income

  • Cost of the total project

  • Other information considered appropriate by the applicant

Mini-grants are subject to the same guidelines as other grants except for the grant size and application process.

In recent years, Mini-Grants have been awarded for the following projects, which can be found here.
